From My Move to the Philippines, 2 year ago, Read 0 times. Similar articles

Yes we are catching up with the Philippines here in the U.S. I heard my first Christmas music of the year in the Mall today and I think we are starting to get in the mood. Actually, I have to admit the first Christmas music I heard this year was on a Merry Go Round at the local amusement park in July. Can’t figure that one out maybe they were trying to keep us thinking of cool weather. Another sign I saw of Christmas is the lines for the popular toys this year. Went by ToysRus this... Read more

October 2009 Moving to Philippines Dream Home Pics

From My Move to the Philippines, 2 year ago, Read 0 times. Similar articles

Well we just received a few new pics from our home in the Philippines. As you can see when looking at the pictures we have added an awning. This was against my wishes but my wife decided it would protect us. Whatever the reason I think awnings can get tacky looking if not maintained. One more step will be accomplished this week when the air conditioning is installed. Believe me guys I can handle the heat but my wife who grew up in these temps demands it! Anyway the link to all the pics is... Read more

Since Christmas season in the states is near I have had a couple of marketing campaigns I have spent most of my working time on so I have neglected this blog. One of them will almost surely be a profitable campaign for me and the customer but also has taken much effort and is not close to being ready. To see what I’ve started click here but... Read more

Will Obama's Healthcare Bill Benefit the Philippines'

From My Move to the Philippines, 2 year ago, Read 0 times. Similar articles

President Obama’s Healthcare reform bill is a hot topic on the internet, TV, and just about every other media outlet. The people who are pro-healthcare and anti-healthcare are very passionate about the topic but I feel like I’m not a good judge of what is best because my whole life I have basically been on a government provided healthcare program. I joined the Navy right out of high school and retired from the Navy so my family and I have only known government healthcare. What I can... Read more

Filipino T Shirts

From My Move to the Philippines, 2 year ago, Read 0 times. Similar articles

I was looking through some old photos of my younger days when I lived in the Philippines and in a couple of photos I noticed I was wearing T-Shirts made in the Philippines. Back in those days if I wasn’t in uniform my fashion consisted of mostly blue jeans and t-shirts with some saying or a place I’d been on the front. One I had was from my stay at the Hyatt Regency Baguio which  was destroyed by an earthquake a couple years after I stayed there. And to think that my room was on the... Read more
